  • This works really well Margaret. If you don't mind me mentioning, I think the large boat would look great going in the direction of the horizon, this would lead your eye into the picture.

  • Thank you Carole. That is a good suggestion. This was based on a photo of yachts tethered in the basin of a canal (I removed all the canal details) so just drew them the way they were - I am needing to think more about compositions rather than what is in front of me - I'm trying to work on that at the moment.

  • Thanks Linda :) I do like my indigo! I really like your "Mountains and Lake" - lovely colours and marks. I should try wholly imaginative stuff too but this one is the nearest I've got for a long while! I do find acrylics good fun though.
