  • Thanks Dennis, I wonder if that is Discovery Watercolour edited by Ernest Savage? It has some great advice for any watercolour artist even if the style of writing is a little old fashioned. My mate Steve Hall has recently acquired a painting titled The Storm Cloud that appears in the book and it a lesson in how to paint in watercolour.

  • This is beautifully done, Barry, it has a lovely softness to it.

  • Very nice Barry. That soft centre is a masterful stroke.

  • Lovely subtle tones and great atmosphere Barry. One of the really good things about POL is that someone mentions and thus introduces another artist who some of us have never heard of, and the learning process goes on!
    Thank you for that!
