  • I often go back to basics Barry, we need to sometimes and boy is this another clean and beautiful watercolour, I can't fault it!, this is a winning formula.

  • Thanks Dennis my thoughts exactly, I’m always telling others to simplify and keep it fresh I just need to take heed of my own advice!!!!!

  • Thank you Alan, I think it’s important to experiment and explore with your art but never forget what is already in the locker.

  • A nice example of what watercolour is all about Barry.

  • Clean and fresh, being simpler...but even your more "layered" work such as "A Day in Cromer" works brilliantly in my opinion. You have the skills to take it as far as you want.

  • Super, fresh watercolour Barry, in style it reminds me of Jem Boden's work which I know you like also.

  • Thank you Stephen, not surprised at your comment Jem and I have similar role models and paint together in the same Plein Air group. In my opinion he is one of the most talented landscape watercolourists around at the moment.
