  • Cracking feeling of movement in this Clare, got to admit just having got in from a brisk stroll over the tops - this brought all the senses back to the fore - love it!

  • Thanks for all of your very encouraging & positive comments. I have to admit, this painting didn't come easily! I laboured over it and changed the foreground many times, so I feel I lost site of it a bit. It's good to re-connect with it again, with fresh eyes, and your comments certainly help. Following this painting I did 2 very quick small acrylic sketches, and I feel they're much stronger - often the case!
