Staffs, United Kingdom
I studied art at school and then went to Leek Art School, where I met some fabulous people who taught me a lot, and the staff were pretty good too. I then took a degree in art at Manchester until 1987. Then I stopped altogether and switched direction to music, and then teaching design, both of which I have done for the last 20 plus years. In 2004 I took life classes for a couple of terms, where I developed a taste for working rapidly, and enjoying making marks. Then another break until I started to draw again a couple of years ago on holidays aiming to fill a sketchbook each holiday. In late August 2017 I started painting again and in that time I have completed over 250 paintings, and thoroughly enjoyed doing nearly all of them. I am not the kind of artist that talks or writes about himself in the third person, and I don't like to crow. I do however love painting and drawing, but please keep that to yourself or someone may try to stop me.
