  • Excellent paintings Jem.Both of them.

  • I'm the first to click "like" this is superb, Jem. It's difficult to find the words to comment, in case anything sounds negative. It's all praise. The sky is magnificent and looks effortless. The slight bleeding of the distant trees into the sky is exquisite. The definition of the islands or mud-flats and boats is minimal. The water uses the paper brilliantly and the foreground looks as if you used about two or three strokes. Marvellous use of watercolour; a masterclass in "less is more."

  • Beautiful. Seems so simple (in a great way) but says so much and has great energy. Love it๐Ÿ’š
