  • Thank you for your kind comments. This painting is my memory of the bluebell woods we used to play in as children and where my husband and I walked when we were teenagers, so it is a very emotive piece for me. It is from my memory so that was why I decided to paint it in an impressionist style, its a very long time ago since I visited it, quite a few decades in fact, so I cannot remember the detail!
    I felt pleased that I had captured my feelings of the place and even more pleased when, unprompted, my niece said it reminded her of the same area (she still lives in the area).
