  • It's a very precise neat job David, I think movement amongst the figures would help, but the loco is the star.

  • Thanks Derek, the person commissioning the work asked for the figures to be portrayed that way, the guard is his father, the woman his mother and the old gent his grandfather!

  • Great train painting and so detailed. These trains gave a lot of atmosphere to the stations and were so colourful in comparison to todays ones.

  • Lovely bit of nostalgia! The loco is beautifully drawn/painted and I like the dark sky set against the light platform roof. I had never heard of Belterbet - what a wonderful name! It conjures up visions of high speed.....reckon the the last train is is going to have the regulator wide open and the poor fireman shovelling furiously.
