  • Thanks all for your kind comments...they are done mainly with Watercolour Pencils. People in War...and this is done on 360 gsm watercolour paper (Langdon)...with base drawing of watercolour pencil, then Art bar (which is a watersoluble thick medium, washed over and then highlighted with pastel...using all these mediums gives me a great freedom within the art, and gives great light effects. Figure Drawing Devon is my UK site with most of our work on! Actually I do use the best pencils Derwent, but I have also found that the budget pencils from WH Smith give great sharp lines, as they do not go soft! A quarter the price of the best! ta ta
