Great painting - my idea of hell!

Very clever Andrew; I was immediately reminded of the Ford Maddox Brown painting. Well done.

I agree with Heather. Flew to Canada one year with a small child kicking the back of my seat for most of the nine hour😡 great painting, by the way.

Fab painting and a great nod to the Ford Maddox Brown which I was looking at just the other day (and thinking, I'd love to do a representation of that! Unfortunately I am not skilled enough!).

Excellent painting Andrew, great detail.

Thank you everybody for the encouraging comments. I had fun painting this.

A stylistic departure. This is a cheeky tribute to one of my favourite paintings by Ford Maddox Brown that showed the agony of emigration. This shows the agony of getting to Luton Airport for a 7 a.m. departure with a young family. Going on a two week package deal in Mallorca doesn't match up to leaving for Australia forever, but it does show how times have changed.
