Thank you David - it was such a beautiful day when I painted this that I was a little tempted to down brushes and sit in the sun rather than paint it! But I am so glad I didn’t in the end :-) Yes, you are right about the window.

Hi Bri, full credit to my husband for the garden, he makes it look this tidy and a beauty to behold. In return, I have been messing the house up with my oil paints everywhere with no available surfaces left when it is time to prepare a family meal (opps!). My husband’s always saying his garden is a picture - and now it is! (I have never appreciated his work in the garden as much as I do now!) ‘Through the Square Window’ is 30 x 30cms oil on canvas panel. Painted as a tribute to Nick and hard working gardeners everywhere :)
