Absolutely brilliant Alan so much so for the limited pallet . The sailing barges are excellent.

Love this, what lovely textures you have got.

I love the hazy look you have created. Beautiful Alan.

A stunner Alan, love the colours too

One of your most beautiful paintings Alan, love it!

Wonderful painting, full of light & colour.

Love that sky and the well placed barge.

They said it all, Alan: this is so very atmospheric! Perfect.

Fabulous use of colour and light Alan - so effective.

What a gorgeous painting - absolutely captures that quality of early morning light: all of your paintings have worked for me, but of all of them I think this is the one that has appealed to me most (so far!).

Beautifully painted.

What a great painting.....muted, gentle, splendid.

Another great painting Alan,

A gentle hazy day. Excellent Alan.

Beautiful, Alan, love the softness of the limited palette.

This is a stunning piece of art, absolutely beautiful LOVE IT!👍

I admire all your work, Alan...especially the maritime ones, this is very classy indeed.

Love the impasto effects in the sky and your very subtle palette Allan. You have captured that early morning feel before the haze disappears and the sun appears.

Another winner!

Well once again a huge thank you for your generous comments, I love reading them!

Another superb painting, I love ether light on the buildings which draws you into the painting.

Fabulous Alan, not often do we see a seascape painted mostly with pink.

A wonderful pearlescent quality to your painting Alan, a beauty.

It is rather gorgeous, Alan…..Fiona got the right word with pearlescent.

An absolutely stunning piece, Alan! Such a great palette and composition, with atmosphere in spades. Fabulous!

Very up lifting with that light airy feel.

A tranquil sky study this time, capturing a hazy early morning coastal scene, with the prospect of a warm day ahead. I’ve used a limited palette here, picking out just a few highlights using pure titanium white. Oil on board 40 x 50cm.
