Yes - it does fit the title Alan.! I really like the simplicity of the elements in the painting. Letting those luscious colours do the work. The sky is full of movement - colour and strokes. A great painting.

An atmospheric snow scene with some old barns and a few clumps of dark winter trees, which I’ve randomly scrubbed in using an old worn hog brush. Landscapes don’t have to be overly complicated, simplicity can often help create impact! I’ve used very little ‘pure white’ for the snow apart from a couple of highlights, keeping the light and colour in keeping with this frosty evening snow scene. Oil on MDF 20 x 20in.
