I share your sentiments entirely. Some zoos rescue ex circus animals and they can never be put back into the wild. Mankind should be ashamed of itself. The Wildheart Trust in the Isle of Wight specialises in rescuing these big cats. Fabulous painting though Martin.

I am conflicted about wildlife parks as they keep some species alive to prevent extinction but it is at the cost of the freedom of the individual animals. This beautiful Amur Leopard is in Yorkshire Wildlife Park and paces up and down the fence line clearly troubled. I hope it is worth it. Acrylic 20 x 16”
