Made of Galloway Granite
Unintentional multi media! I’d produced a poor dry point image with not enough depth to the etching. In a last ditch attempt to get an image, I used a discarded watercolour that I’d botched on Bockingford. After I’d soaked the watercolour for hours(!) I was left with a washed out mountain side, and incredibly when I put the curlew plate through the press, I got the faintest outline. By this stage I was in full curlew rescue mode and completed all with Caran D’Ache pencils.
