Brilliant painting and drawing Lew, it was really good seeing how you recovered this and how well it’s turned out. As I’ve said before your the Master of the pen , your characters are alway so entertaining.

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. A few have referred to my problems with this. I'm fairly new to gouache, and made a mess of it at the start. Had it been a watercolour I've have dumped it, but gouache let's you keep going...you can paint light over dark.
