This is Boo, who has been my assistance dog and beloved companion for more than seven years. He’s helped me gain independence and has given me confidence to do the things I was too nervous to do before. He’s helped me physically, pulling my coat off for me and picking up all the things I drop, and he has helped me emotionally, being by my side day and night at the hospice for nearly a week as I sat by my Mums bedside. He has had Cancer treatment himself three times. He is my hero and I love him dearly.
