We were very lucky to see my daughter and her new baby in the last few months for the first time in nearly 3 years. This image spoke to me as I so missed the closeness we have and have missed the hugs and chats - in person! Living on opposite sides of the world have kept us apart but there is nothing like being with family in real life. These are two cute Meerkat, done on scratchboard with a gold underlay. I scratched a bit deeper to get to the white layer for the whiskers.
