Finds from Middlehaven
Although the flowers are fading, there’s still lots to see: the Michaelmas daisies provide nectar for the remaining bees; the seedheads are fascinating forms; dragonflies are checking the suitability of pools; but the washed-up mussel shells and bladderwrack are evidence of recent storms (the Tees is tidal at this point).
