Upon a winter’s morning

An excellent painting, Dixie. Good that it's from your imagination. Attractive though this winter scene is, I hope it won't be repeated any time soon in real life.

Lovely Paul.

Many thanks Lew and Denise your comments are appreciated a lot. I quite like the snow Lew , but do agree that we don’t want it to soon , maybe over Christmas would be lovely, and set the scene fir the festivities. As long as people can get around safely and keep warm I’m ok with it.

Lovely delicate painting Paul.

Beautiful painting Paul. I like the landscape length of your painting and the subtle colours in the sky ✨

Lovely painting Dixie. I always like a gate, a path and a landscape, sets me wondering where it leads!

Thank you James and Tessa your comments are appreciated. I like to see and have gates in paintings Tessa for the same reasons , I often think the same when out walking .

Watercolour imaginary winter landscape, early morning looking out from the hedgerow across the fields. Whist imaginary it’s based on early walks in and around the National Trust property at Bradenham in Buckinghamshire. Set my self forty minutes to complete this managed it in thirty three, stopped before I started my bad habit of fiddling with paintings.
