Beautiful detail in this Paul.

Thank you Rikke and Carrie, the image is adapted from a very old BW photo , I will do a watercolour painting I think . The boat in the original photo was Clencoy and was used in laying the Atlantic cable near the land in shallow waters as they are almost flat bottomed .

This is a spectacular drawing of this Clyde puffer Paul, think it will be nice to paint in watercolour too...super form and rigging, well done!

The Puffers were beautiful little boats Paul, still some around. The one used in the TV series Vital Spark was moored at Inveraray when I was last up there.

A3 pencil sketch of a Clyde Puffer. These old ship served all the island around Scotland , many were converted to diesel in later life . Some were originally call VICs and were ex admiralty they were victualling inshore craft not give name but numbers ex VIC20 . Used to deliver anything from cold to egg , and ammo to the warships in harbours.
