Hay Barges ( Stackies)
A bit bigger than a4 watercolour of barges awaiting loading with hay. A very common fight in the late 1800s and up until the 1940s. Two man crew with the mate standing on top shouting instructions to the helmsman . Hoped to get the effect of low tide just as the mud pushed through the water.
