Black cars are nice to look at but on a sunny day can get very hot.  Try washing and waxing one on a hot day, metal can get so hot it can't be touched!  And air con is a definite must. I like my car but I probably wouldn't get another black one.

My last Pontiac had a dark green vinyl interior Steve, same as the new one. Once had to jump out as I made the mistake of getting in on a red hot day with shorts on! Hope I’m not boring anyone with too many posts! Here’s this afty’s progress.

They are, not to put too fine a point on it, a bodge - so I’m quite pleased with it so far. Both cars were shot in bright sunshine so I had to do some serious Photoshoppery to get them to where they are!

Nearly finished the Mustang posted elsewhere on here, so dug this one out and dusted it off, ready to start again at the weekend. Realised I'd gotten on a little bit further than the last post here, so here's where it's at: Further on with the bodywork, trim and one wheel done! Looking forward to cracking on with it.

Back onto the Escort and Focus yesterday - feels like I’ve broken the back of this one now: Please excuse the angled shot, I was getting loads of glare when trying to shoot it straight on. The Focus will need a bit of work as there are trees reflected in the paint, but I’ll echo the colours and reflections from the Escort and hopefully that’ll work.

First time I’ve had a late-night painting session in a long time! Was in the zone so got the Escort finished. Hope to get some more time on the Ficus tomorrow, would love this to be finished before I start work again!
