If all goes to plan, this will be a painting of the Fairy Glen on Skye. My partner was keen for me to paint this one, to remind her of one of our favourite holidays. I've just sketched in the rough shapes and shades for reference, there a some nice trees to add which break up the larger blocks. I like this stage, you can kid yourself nothing has gone wrong yet that can't be fixed...
