I don't often show WIPs - so I thought I would, just to make a change. Vast amount to do yet, but I've got the basics in. Acrylic because I want to get this one done fairly quickly, and it's on a stretched canvas, which I've just about given up on for oils. I've used the Daler-Rowney Graduate Acrylics, kindly given to me by POL for a bit of help with their website, and a bit of Chromacolour Burnt Umber, which I happened to have on the palette.

I had the same acrylics from POL also, they certainly spread easily, albeit a bit thin! I wouldn’t have bought this particular brand.
This is quite a challenge here, just one tree, good luck on this one, but progressing well.
Personally, I’m not a big fan of these tall elongated shapes, but you weren’t left with a lot of choice here given the subject matter!
It must be nearing completion by now!
