Has anyone any advice about the best method of sending paintings either within the UK or overseas?

Are you talking about packing or postal John? DPD or Royal Mail for delivery in the main, for art boxes I purchase mine from Defendapack, single, double or triple wall.

Hello John, I've sent by Royal Mail parcels, and Parcelforce, within UK and to USA. When I was originally looking for who to send things with in the UK, none of the other carriers insured paintings. Check with each carrier as to what they will and won't send. Packaging-wise, I think there's another thread (not too long ago) which covers most of poeple's packaging tips.
