Can anybody help please? I'm quite heavy handed with my pastels, I love to build up the pastels and on occasion have used fixative spray between layers. However when I do the final spray to a finished pastel painting I always gets small specks on the paper, leaving little marks. This is despite following instructions about being 20 centimetres away or whatever the product has recommended, or even further away. And it doesn't seem to make any difference whose spray I use. I get very frustrated with this whole fixative thing, I can't be the only one with this problem - or can I? I would welcome any advice or comments. (?)
