Nutcrackers every time for me too, works a treat. I keep some old ones in my paint bag, so I don’t go anywhere without them.

I’m with Fiona, Nutcrackers ever time.  Just does the job, everyone wants to borrow mine when painting with friends!
Same here Alan, everyone wants to borrow them! I came across this on Jacksons site, same principle I expect only for different size tube tops.
Well this looks like it could help! Although it’s not specifically designed for’stuck’ caps, more a dexterity issue! But in many cases you’re still going to need to immerse the cap in boiling/hot water also, great find Fiona.
If a cap is just very stiff and not actually firmly stuck, wrapping a piece of fabric (usually whatever item of clothing I’m wearing!) round it to get a better grip usually works.  Agree with Alan, though, when caps are firmly stuck, they need the hot/boiling water treatment.
