Hi I am new to painting and have been doing oil paintings for about 7 months now and am curious what people would pay for my work. I do comissions and am unsure if my pricing is suitable so any guidance and comments on what you would pay would be appreciated. I have attached a couple of my paintings below.

I work for peanuts! (But I don't mind peanuts) 😂
Nadia, your paintings are beautiful.
I always forget how long I've been working on a painting. Some don't take particularly long, but others may take many hours over several days or weeks. (Depends on what mood I'm in).
I'm happy with the price-range I set my work at (size of canvas + average hours to paint that size, whatever the subject). I have nudged up my prices a little bit (after being told too often that I sell way too cheap).
Perhaps if I had more confidence in myself and the saleability of my work, I would have the confidence to put a higher price tag on it. (I have more confidence than I used to, so am getting there) - but that is down to the world around me - family, friends initial encouragement when I first started painting, then my first few pictures in an exhibition, then joining a group of other artists to exhibit, entering painting competitions, encouragement from total strangers. All these things build up the confidence (and your price tag!)
I'm a very long way off the £50/ hour mark though!! 😂😂
