I actually don’t mind the smell of Linseed oil either, and I have never had any issues with the smell of oil paints. In fact all of these smells remind me of my happiest days at art college.
But, so many on here do struggle with it all, and I suspect one of the reasons water miscible oil paints were introduced - I can’t think of any other viable reason for them, perhaps easier to clean brushes etc, but that’s never been an issue for me.
