Well the option's there to give yourself a nickname/nom de plume, and many assume that's what's expected. Plus, Rafter may have his own reasons - so let us bid him welcome, as indeed we have, and look to penetrate the mystery of his cunning disguise through our own artful means. It all adds to the mystery of life - if he's in Canada, I imagine there's something of a swarm crossing the border right now: that's certainly what I'd be doing after yesterday's event, were I in the USA.
