There is certainly some astonishing work done in botanical illustration. I've had to look for Penny Brown on the internet. Fabulous work. I see she also does botanical images using collage. I love art books, I don't have many 'how to' books...the few I have are crammed with examples of the artist's work. They are like very convenient art galleries.
