The seventh Windsor Contemporary Art Fair promises all art lovers an exceptional selection of the finest contemporary art from stunning landscapes to beautiful sculpture. Over 100 artists and galleries are brought together for this one weekend, exhibiting fine art, prints, photography and sculpture with prices from £40 to £4,000, putting collectable contemporary art well within reach. Visitors are invited to come along in search of something exciting and interesting to hang on their walls. Organiser Sarah McAllister says,” We want people to come along and find out what contemporary art is all about. They will have the chance to see and buy pieces of extraordinary originality, whether they are collectors or just want something eye-catching for their home.” Highlights of this year’s Fair are a series of hands-on workshops run by Jelly. These drop-in sessions conducted by artists take place over the whole weekend and are free of charge. The atmosphere is relaxed and encourages youngsters to get involved, express their creativity and to take home their own wonderful piece of art. One particular benefit of the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair is that it gives visitors unprecedented personal access to artists giving them the opportunity to talk to the artists about their work, inspiration and methods. Exhibitors this year include established names, as well as some of the best up-and-coming artists. Their work spans fine watercolours and oils, mixed media pieces, photography, sculpture and ‘urban’ art.
