The 'Heights Art Studios & Gallery' in Houston and the Art Studio of Maria Marticorena in Spain have organized a wonderful retreat for artists and for art enthusiasts in the region of Galicia, Northern Spain. We have two groups, one in September and the other in October 2013. You will be staying in a 500 year old traditional stone house in the country, there will be daily trips to the most important museums and art gallery openings in the nearby cities of 'La Coruna' and 'Santiago de Compostela'. We will have workshops on painting, Spanish Art, Restoration and field days at nearby castles and mile long beaches. Everything is included, chef on residence, all meals, local wine, entry fees to museums and all transports included as well.
