Apart from painting, she specialises in running community art projects and coaches groups interested in developing their Art. Sandy has kindly agreed to host a weekend’s painting on board Annabel J where, as well as enjoying the sailing, we aim to visit picturesque venues such as Yarmouth, Buckler’s Hard, Newtown Creek, Chichester harbour, and Old Portsmouth. At these venues Sandy will coach and encourage and you can either paint on board, or ashore. Bring out the artist in you…… Sandy will help you compose a picture using focal points, tones and values, light and shade, using colour, glazes & techniques through to more advanced methods and use of mixed media, concentrating on areas you want to explore - use various mediums such as Oil, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, ink etc. This weekend is suitable for those who have never painted before; who just want to have a go, as well as accomplished artists.
