A 3 day course with renowned watercolour painter Paul Riley. This course will concentrate on the technical aspects of boat draughting followed by working this understanding into the context of the waterscape. We will also explore the way in which atmosphere can be expressed in marine painting. Paul founded Coombe farm Studios over 25 years ago and is lead tutor. He has published many instructional books and regularly writes for arts magazines. This creative break is a unique opportunity for artistic development as well as relaxation. The landscape surrounding Coombe is a source of great inspiration and the studios are a few minutes away from the River Dart and the south coast where students can work out on location.
