Franklins Art Gallery

Franklins Art Gallery

The ultimate reason for Franklin's Art Gallery is to help the amateur artist get their work into a gallery without it costing a fortune. This is perfect for both the artist and the buyers. We intend to exhibit brand new fresh artwork that has not been exposed before. Amateur artists are not usually known that well outside their own areas, they tend to produce art in their spare time and not as a full time occupation. We have so many fantastic artists throughout the UK that sell their artwork via auction sites and Galleries, but this doesn't give the artist's the financial rewards they deserve. Franklins will make it as cost effective as possible to allow the artists to display their work, and find new followers and potential clients.

The Reason behind the Barn Gallery The ultimate reason for Franklin's Art Gallery is to help the amateur artist get their work into a gallery without it costing a fortune. Now & the Very, very near Future We have found the most beautiful barn which will house the Gallery, situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Haynes in Bedfordshire. We have an amazing 3500 Sq Ft of pure character, and that's without the Art !! As you can see by the pictures, the barn has stood empty for some time, and the work that is required to transform it into the finished gallery is going to be quite intense, but very achievable. We want to open the gallery as soon as possible, so we intend to allow the public to see the barn as it stands, what we intend to do over the next few months, is to hold a few live auctions, even with the barn in its rustic, but still amazing condition. We will also have images and models on display of what we intend the finished Gallery will look like. On the 25th of June we aim to display around 1000 pieces of art for the public and potential buyers to view for a 3 week period before we hold a live auction on site. Buyers can either leave us their commission bids on the artwork they wish to buy, or attend the auction in person when it takes place. This will help us raise the necessary funds to carry out the works to convert the Gallery, so it will be 100% perfect for exhibiting exquisite art. The finished Gallery will be a peaceful, tranquil and beautiful gallery offering the ambience only a gallery can offer. We aim to hold around 12 auctions each year, ensuring that we always have fresh new artwork, giving the artists and enthusiasts new opportunities every month. Each auction will be held on the Saturday after the viewing period has closed, and carry into the Sunday if required.
