Jonathan Newey is an award winning artist who lives and works in Reading. He comes from a strong artistic background and is believed to be a 4th generation artist. He has been an art tutor in adult education for over 20 years and has published three books: ‘Drawing with Coloured Pencil’, ‘Drawing and Painting Buildings’ and ‘How to Draw Wild Animals’. He works in a variety of mediums and subjects including paintings in acrylic, watercolour and sketches with pen, watercolour and watercolour pencil. He has work in collections both in the UK and abroad and has exhibited at a number of open exhibition venues including The Mall Galleries, London, West of England Academy, Bristol, Royal Society of Birmingham Artists and The Morphi Gallery, Limassol, Cyprus.
