The Cork Street Open Exhibition – Summer Show 2013 is now accepting submissions of paintings, sculpture, photography, drawings and illustration, computer and digital artwork, original prints and mixed media. Cash and Materials Prizes awarded in several different categories. This prestigious exhibition has helped artists worldwide find an audience with collectors and expose their art to gallery owners. The final selection of approximately 200 works is hung in salon style over an eight day period. Cash and materials prizes are awarded by the judges in a number of categories. The dates for the exhibition are 9-16 August 2013 There is a limit of six entries per artist. In the past judges have stated that they find it easier to choose work by artists they have seen several entries from, as opposed to single entries. Therefore, in order to encourage multiple submissions, which are clearly to an artists' advantage, the fees for entries subsequent to the first submission have been reduced.
