Waterside Gallery is a venue for contemporary and traditional art in a prominent location at the Waterside Marina. Brightlingsea is an historical Cinq port with a strong sailing heritage, which attracts many visitors. The town has long been a hub for artists, drawn to the coastal light and wild Essex marshes and now art now has a strong sense of place here. Waterside Gallery is run by and for exhibiting artists, in a response to keeping the costs of exhibiting, to a minimum. The gallery can be hired for private or group exhibitions throughout the year. New and established East Anglian artists exhibit, with many returning annually.
