City Storeys and Folk Tails Exhibition

City Storeys and Folk Tails Exhibition

Trees that walk, walls that talk, and a cave encrusted with mosaics create a fictional landscape in which nature and the city merge and collide.

Using video, performance, sculpture, ceramic, and mosaic, Cara Rainbow transforms the Gallery space into an imagined world of stories. These are inspired by human resilience in the face of change and challenge, where characters who might seem vulnerable have tales to tell of strength and survival. Cara Rainbow is the 2017 Zsuzsi Roboz Scholar at Morley College London. The Alfred Teddy Smith and Zsuzsi Roboz Art Trust generously supports a figurative artist of promise to study for one year at Morley. Category: Arts | Visual Arts | Galleries / Art.
