The Basingstoke Festival of Art and Crafts in aid of local charities will be held on Saturday 11th (11am to 6pm) and Sunday 12th October (11am to 5pm) in The Hampshire Court Hotel, Centre Drive, Great Binfields Road, Chineham, Basingstoke, RG24 8FY. Building on the success of last year’s Mayor’s Festival of Art and Crafts the 2014 Festival will encompass both professional and amateur artists and art groups exhibiting a wide range of original paintings. In addition there will be a selection of high class photography and a varied selection of quality craft work including hand made pottery, fused glass, and silk painting. Much of the work will be for sale and all proceeds will be donated equally to the following charities: The Ark Cancer Centre Charity Basingstoke Young Carers Basingstoke Dial-a-Ride Entry is free and there will be a raffle of artwork by local artists. Refreshments will also be available.
