A panel discussion on Art & Architecture coincides with the Gazelli Art House exhibition The Tainted: New Works by Shan Hur and Aron Demetz. The guest speakers are the industry experts Azhar Azhar, a Director at Conran & Partners and Nour Wali, the founder of Nour Wali Art Consultancy. The talk will be moderated by respected curator, author, critic and consultant Lucy Bullivant, Hon FRIBA. The talk will raise questions including: How rigid is the framework provided by architecture of a living space and how can selected works interact with its interior? On what basis is the selection of art made by interior designers and those involved on the architectural side? Through the expertise of Nour Wali and Azhar Azhar, the discussion will explore the fine line between art in its conceptual understanding on the one hand and contextualising art within a living space on the other.
