To celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, we invite all artists to paint anything you feel represents something positive about HM The Queen’s incredible 70-year reign.
This could be scenes from her coronation or other key events throughout her life, street or garden parties, celebratory food, a portrait, corgis, horses, castles, Scotland – the only limit is your own imagination!
Enter your celebratory artworks in any media for the chance to see your work published in our magazines and our website, and win art prizes from Clairefontaine, Frazer-Price and Ken Bromley worth over £450!

H.M. The Queen by Edward Halliday
An enlargement of part of a painting commissioned by The Cunard Steam-Ship Co., LTD. which in June 1953 was hanging in the lounge of s.s. Caronia
Coronation of H.M. Queen Elizabeth
2nd June, 1953
The editor and staff of The Artist convey to Her Majesty their loyal greetings at this Coronation time and add the wish that her reign may be long, happy and glorious. This fine portrait is one of the best painted of Her Majesty and is, we feel, a fitting illustration to this our humble tribute at the beginning of a reign which will bring new glory to our country.
