The effect of watercolour pencils are quite astonishing when applied in the right way. In the past I always used to dip the pencil in water to paint a picture. Now I have learnt that using dry pencils to draw and then applying a small wet brush to some of the areas works much better. Thanks to training videos on youtube you can still learn new things when you have been painting for donkeys years.
