I asked for water soluble oil paints for Christmas this year, and started reading up on how to use them long before they arrived. I watched videos, looked through back copies of LP and the Artist and went to Winsor and Newtons own page( not very well laid out this and not particularly helpful!) I began to think I had made a big mistake. Anyway I started my first ever oil painting, not sure I was getting the fat over thin bit right or anything else if it comes to it, only time will tell it seems.I loved the paints and the movability of them I could have gone on for weeks changing stuff. It reminded me of infant school days when you were limited to one piece of paper and I usually ended up with a hole in the paper because i could not stop painting. Anyway I have called it a day put my effort into the gallery and any criticism will be very welcome and hopefully helpful.
