The lovely comments about my painting - outbreathe - have surprised me - they were totally unexpected. Other comments about the paintings I have put in the gallery have also made me look at my paintings in a new light - I can now see the difference where I lose myself in painting and where I have painted in a way that didn't fit comfortably on my shoulders. I am going to critically review my paintings and try to identify those that say something to me rather than are just a pretty picture- watch this space!
