Hey Alan so glad you are all set up for you exhibitions must be a lot of work...all the very best of luck for early retirement...well I hope you get this before you return to work because I think Sunday might be out with the big pub crawl...I'm really jealous...it's late here and it's Hubby's birthday tomorrow so must drag myself out of bed at least before mid-day so good night and enjoy your weekend

Hi Alan I would love to see your pen and ink work...I used to go straight in like you said it's the mistakes that make the work isn't it...I only made a sketch because I was unsure but only 2b pencil and very light...I still havn't finished with the watercolour I havn't a clue where my time goes...think the foot has to go down a bit to get some time for myself the only way I get this is by getting out of the house and I can't paint in the shopping centre security would call the men in white coats...how exciting for you having your work packed up and ready to go for ll to see wonderful I hope you come home with none...my experience of openings of exhibitions which was a long time ago was things on sticks and Chardonnay...well Alan a huge pat on the back and very good luck...you must log on immediately regardless of the amount of Chardonnay you have consumed and let us know how it all went

Hi Alan how's all your concerts going you lucky burger...hope your weeble is a bit better...yes I changed courses I just knew that in the end I would say something and then sit there miserable and ignored for the rest of the course...usually I wouldn't have but lately my confidence seems to be returning and I'm no longer prepared to sit back and allow people to pile their poo on me to be polite...this ones lovely...like a proper art class not a paint in the colours class...and I just loved going back to the nib and ink I had forgotten what a wonderful feeling it was to make a fluid line with a nib...funny though I can get a better line if I just go straight in instead of sketching first...although this one was lightly sketched first gum leaves are funny twisty things...havn't had a chance to paint this week family demands but have taken a photo of the display for the colours so if I don't get a chance to finish at home I'll do it in class next week...the new Tutor says no hurry and that suits me

Hi Alan so you are not alone with your vertigo it's nice to have someone to discuss your virus with...yea that tutor what a woman I was really pleased with myself for changing courses before it got too long into it which means I have only missed one class of the new course...got the remainder of the equipment today that I need...nibs and things which I love...so if this one turns out OK I'll keep going for a while I really need this to get away from the books and expand my imagination and learn something again...bought a great drawing book today simple exercises starting easy and moving up so tomorrow will get a bit of practice in...Hubby had a very good win on the gee gees so got a bit of cash in the back of my purse to buy the equipment and book with...he's a lucky burger sometimes

Hi Alan hope you have recovered from Tina and the music didn't upset your weeble...my course was crap...Tutor useless and took our brushes out of our hands and took our chairs and painted...took me ages to leach out her awful work...so got the ginger up today and changed course to the one which the enrolling Lady recommended in the first place...Pen Pencil Ink and Watercolour for complete beginners and relearners like me and the Lady assured me that it wouldn't happen in this course...she's taking money for old rope no instruction just going around the room sitting in peoples chairs and painting for them...burger that...for once in my life I dobbed her in sod it...felt so much better after too...the course cost $144 a term and I expect something better for that...so that's me I posted the abomination in my Gallery there is a dark shape on the left which is the Tutors "work" which I didn't get time to leach out...have a good weekend

He did it again made me laugh...half your luck seeing Tina at her best...she always puts on a fantastic concert...you are busy with all the concerts...we have Simon and Garfunkel coming but the venue is terrible so we won't go...must go start course tomorrow

Strewth Alan which dot on the landscape is it?

Oh thank you so much Alan he looks wonderful..I've decided I'm in love with Henry...lovely colours by the way good paint job
