Yesterday was another eventful day at the moated castle where I went painting plein air. As on previous occasions there was a brass band to entertain the guests at the castle restaurant. I set up my easel near the entrance and started to paint. The encouraging remarks from passers by always make me feel I am doing the right thing. Then dark clouds started to gather and I was afraid I would have to pack up in a hurry. Fortunately the weather forecast was right - no rain.
