I finally decided on my new year's resolution, (better late than never)... I've learned something useful re the painters exhibition calender, be prepared! I resolve this year to start painting in September so that I will be able to draw breath in the first quarter of 2013. I'm not complaining, but oh how I wish I'd seen it coming. Unlike many painters I'm a slow worker.....thank goodness for day light bulbs! Going down with a bad case of the lurgy in March for 3 weeks didn't help :( Thanks for all your get well messages, all good now. I don't know if anyone remembers the series of 6 boats from around the world I painted for the candidates exhibition of the RBSA? Well, no one is more surprised than yours truly but the result was positive.
